Eternal Threads is dedicated to improving the lives of women in poverty by giving them work, marketing their handmade goods and returning the profits to their communities.







We are dedicated to uplifting and enabling women through their own skills and initiative giving them hope and confidence for the future!

Linda Egle, founder of Eternal Threads, has been involved in charitable projects in rural South India for the past 16 years. The "Sofi" project began in 2000 with the belief that enabling people to help themselves is the most valuable and long-lasting form of charity.

David coordinates the delivery of twine by rickshaw to the women in rural villages. He states,"...there are many poor women in villages (who) are benefitted financially ...they are expressing their gratitude and satisfaction for providing regular work."

Subadhra, a college tailoring instructor, provides training and guidance to the women.
"...there are no words to express my happiness. There are no boundries to my joy. I am meeting 50 to 70 poor women twice a week. I am happy to see their happy faces."
